PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The SAM® Junctional Tourniquet (SJT) is specifically designed to control bleeding in the inguinal or axilla area, offering a rapid application time of less than 25 seconds. In cases where standard tourniquets aren't suitable, SJT steps in to control bleeding and immobilize pelvic fractures effectively.
KEY FEATURES
TIGHTEN WITH CONFIDENCE
The patented SAM® AUTOSTOP buckle is engineered to eliminate any excess slack before inflating the TCD (Tourniquet Cuff Device). Upon achieving the ideal level of compression, two prongs engage, producing an audible click to validate the precise application. The buckle remains firmly in position, fastened by the Velcro® strap system.
TARGET COMPRESSION DEVICE
The SJT's Target Compression Device (TCD) rapidly inflates using a detachable hand pump or any luer lock syringe, efficiently reducing blood loss. Employing two TCDs allows for bilateral blood flow occlusion..
